Modern Bubble Tea Store in Richmond
In the highly competitive food and beverage markets of Vancouver and Richmond, a store’s interior is more than just a renovation—it is a core pillar of brand competitiveness. For this project, Y&Y Construction focused on achieving a precise balance between "high-end visual appeal" and "high-intensity operational efficiency."
Architectural Facade & Design Narrative
We first established a design narrative centered on surface engineering. The space features extensive use of custom coral fluted panels. In terms of craftsmanship, our team applied precision edging and finishing to ensure the visual continuity of the textures. This material not only provides a warm, tactile feel to the space but also offers industrial-grade durability, significantly reducing long-term maintenance costs in high-traffic environments.
Hidden Engineering: The Operational Lifeline
Hidden engineering is the "lifeline" of any F&B project. Addressing the heavy power demands of bubble tea equipment (such as high-output brewers and refrigeration systems), Y&Y Construction re-engineered the project’s MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) integration. We designed independent, load-balanced circuits to fundamentally eliminate the risk of power trips during peak hours. Simultaneously, we strictly adhered to BC City Hall regulations, installing commercial-grade seamless drainage systems to ensure the project passed government inspections on the first attempt.
Atmospheric Lighting & "Instagrammable" Spaces
The creation of the optical environment was key to driving foot traffic. Moving away from traditional uniform lighting, we utilized a combination of 2700K warm-spectrum integrated LED systems and minimalist artistic pendants. By fine-tuning the layers of light and shadow, we not only highlighted the product display areas but also gave the entire interior a "built-in filter" quality, perfectly catering to the "Instagrammable" demands of modern social media consumers.
Spatial Flow & Regulatory Compliance
Foot traffic circulation and compliance were critical construction priorities. We strictly executed BC Building Code accessibility standards, with precise calculations for counter heights and aisle widths to ensure universal access. Furthermore, through the strategic positioning of fixed furniture, we scientifically separated the ordering and pickup flows, maximizing floor space efficiency (sales per square foot) within a compact footprint and improving service speed during rush hours.
The Result: A True Turnkey Solution
Ultimately, Y&Y Construction delivered a true "turnkey" commercial space to our client. We focused not only on the visual restoration of the design but also utilized rigorous project management to control timelines, helping the owner shorten the vacancy period before opening. Choosing Y&Y means choosing professionalism, compliance, and a rapid transition from blueprints to profitability.
