Yang Fu Ji Fusion Cuisine — Warm Dining Rhythm & Layered Restaurant Identity
Yang Fu Ji Fusion Cuisine is a Burnaby restaurant interior design project at 117-4501 Kingsway, planned around a warm dining atmosphere, layered wood details and a clear customer journey from entry to seating. The design uses a rich material palette, ceiling grids, planting, textured walls and soft booth seating to create a restaurant environment with both comfort and visual depth.
Y&Y Construction's design work focuses on translating the restaurant identity into a complete spatial experience. The entry, dining room, booth areas, bar seating and private-room moments are organized as connected zones, giving the restaurant a cohesive look while supporting different dining occasions.
Entry Presence and Brand Recognition
The entry view introduces the restaurant through a warm feature wall, signage moment and planted foreground. This creates a clear visual destination from the corridor and helps customers understand the restaurant's tone before they reach the main dining area.
Dining Room Flow and Seating Variety
The main dining room uses long sightlines, booth seating and flexible table arrangements to support both small groups and larger meals. The ceiling grid and wall panels organize the room visually, helping the dining area feel layered without becoming visually noisy.
Warm Materials and Private Dining Atmosphere
Wood tones, warm wall textures, soft pendant lighting and planting create a relaxed restaurant atmosphere. Private and semi-private seating zones use screens, darker finishes and controlled lighting to give guests a more intimate dining experience.
