Kinton Ramen (YVR)

As one of Vancouver's premier ramen brands, Kinton Ramen demands excellence in both functionality and visual identity. Y&Y Construction managed the full hard renovation, seamlessly blending raw industrial elements with the rigorous operational needs of a high-volume restaurant.

We executed a signature dining environment through precision material handling. This included high-durability concrete-textured walls, custom metal grates, and dark wood accents, ensuring a balance between aesthetic appeal and long-term durability.

The heart of any restaurant is its kitchen. Our team managed the complex MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) layout, ensuring the seamless operation of heavy-duty cooking equipment and professional ventilation systems, all while adhering to Vancouver’s commercial building codes.

A key technical highlight of this project was the construction of restroom facilities according to high-level accessibility standards. Following the stringent guidelines similar to YVR’s universal washroom specifications, we implemented a barrier-free design with optimized maneuvering clearance and specialized safety fixtures to ensure full inclusivity and compliance.

Within the constraints of the unit, we maximized seating capacity through strategic partitioning, while optimizing both staff service flow and customer foot traffic.
