Kinton Ramen (Lougheed Mall Food Court)

Kinton Ramen at Lougheed Mall Food Court is a completed 600 sq ft restaurant project at 9855 Austin Road in Burnaby, BC. Y&Y Construction provided design, construction and project management for the approximately 56-square-metre space. Construction took two months, and the restaurant opened in October 2026. The project brings the brand into a compact food court setting with a defined customer-facing counter and commercial kitchen.

Y&Y Construction handled the design and the full restaurant fit-out. The scope included plumbing, electrical and gas work, the commercial kitchen, exhaust system, equipment installation, partitions, flooring, walls and interior finishes. The team also coordinated on-site construction across these work areas. Design and construction covered both the customer-facing finishes and the kitchen systems within the 600 sq ft premises.

The finished storefront combines an orange tiled feature wall and illuminated Kinton Ramen signage with dark counter surfaces and horizontal wall slats. Timber ceiling slats and recessed lighting frame the front of the unit. Digital menu screens, ordering terminals and the service counter form the customer-facing area, with kitchen and preparation functions behind. These visible details give the compact unit a clear brand presence within the food court.
