In the Datang Hot Pot project, Y&Y Construction executed a profound practice of spatial tension and cultural narrative. As a highly challenging commercial interior design and construction project, we not only achieved a grand visual framework but also precisely restored the brand’s high-end positioning through complex hard renovation and technical execution.

Spatial Framework: Structural Aesthetics and Chinese Imagery

The centerpiece of this project lies in the modern deconstruction of traditional architectural elements. We utilized heavy-duty solid timber frameworks to construct "pavilion-style" booths within the expansive, high-ceiling space, creating a sense of intimate enclosure. Precision Millwork: The intricate wooden lattices and screens serve as more than just spatial dividers; they act as filters for light and shadow. Every joint and connection reflects Y&Y’s rigorous standards for fine millwork, ensuring both the structural integrity and aesthetic elegance of the large-scale installations. Material Contrast: We seamlessly blended rustic red brick finishes and cool, polished concrete floors with warm wooden elements. This juxtaposition of ruggedness and refinement imbues the restaurant with a timeless industrial foundation and a touch of humanistic warmth.

Commercial Logic: Flawless Execution of High-Difficulty Hardscape

Facing the challenges of ultra-high ceilings and massive spatial volume, the Y&Y team demonstrated exceptional project management capabilities: MEP and Lighting Integration: In the soaring overhead space, we scientifically organized complex MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems. The synchronized design of the lantern arrays and track lighting not only creates a multi-layered illumination strategy but also visually lowers the center of gravity, fostering a private and sophisticated dining atmosphere. Flow and Operational Efficiency: Even within such a grand floor plan, we remained committed to functionality first. Spacious main corridors and strategically staggered partitions ensure smooth high-frequency service, maximizing both floor-area efficiency and the overall guest experience.
