Big Way Hot Pot (White Rock)

Big Way Hot Pot White Rock is located at 1436 Johnston Rd in White Rock, BC. The 2,000 sq ft restaurant project was completed in September 2026, with Y&Y Construction providing construction and project management over a three-month construction schedule.

The work coordinated the restaurant build with customer-facing areas, self-serve displays, service counters and operational equipment zones. Interior construction, finishes and building systems were organized around a clear customer path from entry and ingredient selection to seating.

The existing building’s fire rating did not meet the project requirements. The team coordinated cost-conscious fire-protection upgrades for the ceilings, walls and HVAC system to meet the applicable fire requirements while keeping the restaurant construction scope and budget in view.

The completed restaurant pairs a visible street-facing entrance with an open, bright dining room. Green banquettes, pale wood, glazed tile and integrated brand elements create a durable customer environment, while clear sightlines support the self-serve format and daily circulation.
